Thanks to Mary for sharing these pictures from Reunion 2016. It was a beautiful weekend- I hope that these memories bring smiles for the folks who were able to attend, and hope for those who weren’t. You were missed, and we hope you can attend the next gathering!

May Day 2012
As has been tradition, on May Day 2012, the McBrides marched in the parade, and danced around a purple, yellow and white maypole. The senior McBrides in attendance (Cindy Spalding, Julie Gorham, and Judith Mendehlson) ran the hoop race, before McBride Advocacy Mistress, Julie Gorham, passed on the McBride hoop (wrapped in purple ribbon) to the succeeding Mistress, Shannon Yaeger. Many McBrides brought their families for a picnic on the lawn, using the bouncy castle, and face-painting on offer. Several McBrides stayed for the final step-sing of the year, where “Stand By Me” — the McBride song — rang loud and true!
Introducing the McBrides
In the 2010-2011 academic year, Julie Gorham McBride 2012, wrote a column in the Bi-Co News entitled, “Introducing the McBrides.” The column was well-received by students, staff, and faculty, raising the profile of McBrides’ presence on campus. Below you can find the hyperlinks to two of the original articles.
